The F1 Calendar promises to be exciting series of races and an action packed 2023 F1 Calendar Season. The major change which has already been announced is that the Chinese Grand Prix has been withdrawn.
The program starts with pre-season testing on February 23-25 at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain where all eyes will be on Mercedes to see if they will field a competitive car for the season. Before China cancelled the Grand Prix in Shanghai there were 24 races on the season schedule, which is going to be strenuous for everyone involved.
As hard as it is going to be for the teams and drivers the F1 Calendar schedule is gearing up to be an epic year for fans.
Mercedes is on the back foot, having, seemingly to have got their design wrong for the second year running. Will they manage to reengineer the car in time to make it competitive in during the year.
Red Bull seems to be strongly on track to reclaim the championship, while Fernando Alonso and the Aston Martin may be the surprise challenger this season.
Ferrari seem to have a competitive car, but only time will tell whether they have got it together in time for 2023.
Apart from Maclaren, who also seem to be on the back foot, the rest of the pack is producing fairly predictable performances, and seem to be positioned where expected.
It will be interesting to see where the season ends up and whether the order will change at all.
