Until the first half of 2022, Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro was considered a reliable and steady F1 driver who could play an excellent supporting role for Charles Leclerc. Nine podiums and one win later prove that Carlos will not play second fiddle to anyone.

Carlos Sainz Jr. is a professional Spanish racing driver competing in Formula One with Ferrari. He is the son of former World Rally Champion Carlos Sainz. Sainz began his motorsport career in motocross before transitioning to four-wheel racing in 2008.

Sainz made his Formula One debut in 2015 with Toro Rosso, where he raced for two seasons before joining Renault in 2017. He spent two seasons with Renault, scoring his first podium finish at the 2018 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, before joining McLaren in 2019.
