Logan Sargeant is the first American driver to compete in Formula 1 since Alexander Rossi in 2015. He made his debut in the 2023 season with Williams Racing, a historic British team. Williams has won nine constructors’ championships and seven drivers’ championships in the past.

Sargeant then moved to single-seater racing, where he competed in various categories, including

He achieved podium finishes and race wins in almost every series he contested, proving his speed and consistency. Logan finished in the following series.

  • 3rd in British F4
  • 3rd in F3 (having also made the podium at the prestigious Macau Grand Prix).

He also became the Rookie of the Year in F2 by finishing fourth overall in the standings in 2022.

Logan Sargeant – Williams Drivers Academy

Sargeant’s impressive performance in F2 earned him a place in the Williams Driver Academy. He was mentored by former F1 drivers George Russell and Alex Albon.

Sargeant got the opportunity to test the Williams FW45 car at the end of 2022. He impressed the team with his feedback and pace.

He was then confirmed as one of the drivers for Williams Racing for the 2021 season, alongside Albon.

Logan Sargeant – F1

Sargeant’s debut season in F1 has been challenging but promising so far. He has scored points in two races out of eight.

His best finish was 12th at the Monaco Grand Prix.

He has also shown his qualifying skills by reaching Q2 on three occasions. His best grid position was 14th at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Logan has been involved in some incidents and crashes, such as colliding with his teammate Albon at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

He also hit the wall at the Canadian Grand Prix.

Sargeant is looking forward to improving his results and learning from his mistakes as he continues his F1 journey. Logan says he is excited to race in front of his home fans at the three races to be held in the US in 2023.
