What’s Happening With The Chinese Grand Prix?

Unfortunately the Chinese grand prix has been withdrawn due to that country’s COVID-19 lock down precautions. The controlling body is looking for an alternative site in the 2023 formula 1 schedule with the name of countries like South Africa being bandied about.

Although South Africa is a strong possibility for a future season, and one which Sir Lewis Hamilton is actively pushing for, their Kyalami race track requires modifications which places it outside of contention for 2023.

Conclusion

The 2023 formula 1 schedule is going to be an amazing experience for fans – less so for the drivers and teams who are travelling across the world multiple times  in the same month.
